Qualifications
Education Qualifications:
1. An advanced degree in one of the following disciplines is required: Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Data Science/Analytics, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Software Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience in the required field may be accepted in lieu of the advanced degree. Work Experience: 1. At least 5 years’ experience related to database development and archiving, software systems analysis, design, and development is required.
2. Experience in geospatial information management with a strong background in data monitoring, reporting, and visualization for environmental or development programs is required.
3. High proficiency in at least four of the following: React, MS SQL, MySQL, ASP.NET, C-sharp, Java, Geographic Information System (GIS), PHP, JavaScript is an asset.
