The African Population and Health Research Center (APHRC) is a premier research-to-policy institution, generating evidence, strengthening research and related capacity in the African research and development ecosystem, and engaging policy to inform action on health and development. APHRC seeks to drive change by developing strong African research leadership and promoting evidence-informed decision-making (EIDM) across sub-Saharan Africa.

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications and experience required
Either completed a bachelor’s degree in the last six months; and/or pursuing/completing a master’s degree in any of the following areas: population studies/demography, statistics, epidemiology, economics, social sciences, or related discipline. More information in the field of education required can be found in the individual project write- up.
Quantitative and qualitative analytical skills are desired for research internships.
This call is open to nationals of sub-Saharan African countries.
The internship will be hybrid, with the expectation that the intern will be physically available when required for internship activities.
